Since 2002 CentralMnRock has provided the Saint Cloud and surrounding communities with news and events focused on the local music scene, helping local music fans connect with their favorite artists.

MISSION

CentralMnRock is all about the music. We are a website dedicated to the Central Minnesota music scene.

GETTING STARTED

Once your registration is complete, log in and you can use some of the more advanced features of the site.

Add a band, venue or gig.
Note: New bands, venues and gigs will be reviewed before they are published "live." Please submit gigs 48 hours in advance allow a minimum of 24 hours for publication.

Post messages in the Community Forum.
Discuss your favorite (or least favorite) things to do in Central Minnesota, the game, jokes, even buy and sell stuff.

Post Music News and Articles
As a CMNR street team member we will allow you access to publish news stories and articles. Contact us for CMNR street team details.

REGISTRATION

We require users to register and login in order to post in the Community Forum and to use some of the more advanced features of the site.

Why do I have to register?
Certain parts of the website are "locked-out" and accessible to registered members only. Anyone can register for free.

So if anyone can register why bother with registration at all?
Registration helps keeps the site secure. It can prevent spammers from posting inappropriate content.

When I register, I'm asked for my e-mail address...
We use your e-mail address as verification in the registration process. We keep you e-mail address on file for future mailings. We will not reveal your e-mail address or personal information to anyone.

I forgot my password.
Near the login box, click the link labeled "Lost Password?" Your password will be reset, instructions will be sent to the e-mail you originally signed up with.

My e-mail address changed, do I need to re-register?
No, you can contact the website administrator or change it in your profile. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to your new address.

I registered but cannot login.
A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you shortly after you register. In some cases auto-generated e-mail will be blocked by your e-mail program or ISP. Check your "Junk" or "Spam" folder. Contact us if you did not receive a confirmation.

COMMUNITY FORUM GUIDELINES

CentralMnRock is moderated, however it is meant to provide a cooperative environment to exchange dialogue. Opinions are not only welcomed, but encouraged. You are responsible for your own posts and agree not to hold CentralMnRock or its members liable for anything stated within the site.

Please read and agree to these basic guidelines and requests before using this system:

Posts relating to illegal activities are strictly forbidden. Requests for cracks, warez, IMEI changers, hacks, posts asking for downloads or links to websites with downloads, etc. will be promptly deleted.

Links to adult content, pages with links to adult content, near adult content (including model and swimsuit sites), or messages describing anything against the law will be removed as soon as possible.

Signing up with a user name that is an obvious domain name or product name will be removed. This is out of unfair promotion considerations as well as trademark implications.

Flaming or personal attacks are not allowed or tolerated. Should anyone use inappropriate language, start a personal attack, or engage in hate speech, they will be barred from all further discussions.

Please keep your language clean and decent. This includes personal inflammatory language as well as obscenities.
